Community Roadmap History
Launching the Umbraco Security and Privacy Team
We introduced the new Umbraco Security and Privacy Team.
Launching the Umbraco in AI Community Team and AI in Umbraco Advisory Boards
We introduced two new initiatives focused on strengthening our work with AI:
The Umbraco in AI Community Team will explore how Umbraco evolves in a world where AI increasingly supports developers. This team brings together experienced Umbraco practitioners to experiment, learn, and help shape how AI is used responsibly and effectively in building real-world Umbraco solutions.
The AI in Umbraco Advisory Board will work closely with Umbraco HQ on defining and shaping the AI packages we ship as part of the modular AI layer.
The Community Site
We’re now developing using the latest version of Umbraco in Umbraco Cloud. Our current focus is updating and adapting content from the old site to the new site, ensuring the site is easy to navigate and information is easily found.
We’re also working on creating a distinct visual identity for the Community site - something that stands apart from umbraco.com and codegarden.umbraco.com, while still being Umbraco.
Improving support for meetups
We’re exploring how we can better support meetups going forward. As part of this work, we’ve brought together organizers from all Umbraco meetup groups in a shared Slack channel, creating an easier space for collaboration between HQ and community organizers.
Planning the MVP Summit 2026
The MVP Summit 2026 took place the two days before Codegarden.
